How ExitCue works
ExitCue is a tracker for people who already hold private-company equity. It turns scattered grant paperwork and occasional price rumors into one calm, current picture.
1. Tell us which company issued your equity
Search for your current or former employer. If we have pricing data for it, you immediately see the latest estimated share price, its as-of date, and a history chart. If we don't, we say so plainly: no invented numbers.
2. Add your shares or grants
Add a simple share count, or full grant details: ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, RSAs, or common stock, with vesting schedules including cliffs and custom frequencies. ExitCue computes your estimated value, split into vested and unvested, and for options it separates gross value, exercise cost, and estimated pre-tax spread.
This step is optional, since the company price works without it, but it's what turns a price into your number.
3. Choose your updates
Every notification category is off until you enable it: new price data, threshold alerts you create, upcoming vests, deadline reminders, and a weekly or monthly digest. Notifications state facts, what happened and when, and never tell you what to do about it.
4. Come back when it matters
Your dashboard shows what changed since your last visit: new price observations, newly vested shares, approaching deadlines. A monthly Equity Update breaks the period's change into honest components that reconcile exactly: price effect, new vesting, your own edits. An annual statement rolls the year up for tax season. When someone else needs the facts, a spouse, an accountant, an attorney, Trusted Circle shares exactly the scopes you choose, read-only and revocable, with every view logged for you.
